3M Tegaderm +Pad Film Dressing with Non-Adherent Pad 6cm x 10cm is an all-in-one sterile wound dressing that combines an absorbent, non-adherent pad with a thin transparent film. The construction helps protect suitable wounds and surgical incisions while reducing the need to layer a separate pad and film dressing.
The outer film provides a waterproof barrier when the dressing remains intact, helping protect the covered area from external contaminants while allowing normal moisture-vapour and oxygen exchange. The central absorbent pad is designed not to adhere to the wound surface, which can help reduce unnecessary disturbance during dressing removal.
The flexible film conforms to body contours and moves with the skin, making the dressing useful for acute wounds such as cuts and abrasions and for post-surgical sites, including areas where movement or mild swelling may occur. Dressing selection and change frequency should follow wound condition and healthcare-professional guidance.
