3M Tegaderm +Pad Film Dressing with Non-Adherent Pad 9cm x 10cm combines a soft absorbent pad with a thin transparent adhesive film to create a convenient all-in-one sterile dressing. It is designed for protection of suitable acute wounds and post-surgical incisions while reducing the need to apply separate dressing layers.
The transparent outer film forms a waterproof protective barrier when fully sealed and intact. It helps protect against external contaminants and provides a bacterial and viral barrier while allowing moisture vapour and oxygen exchange through the film. The absorbent wound-contact pad is non-adherent, helping reduce sticking to the wound surface.
Its conformable construction flexes with movement and can accommodate body contours, making it useful in locations where movement or mild post-operative swelling may be expected. Dressing duration should always be determined by wound condition, exudate level and healthcare-professional guidance.

How to Use:
• Cleanse the wound and surrounding area according to appropriate wound-care instructions.
• Dry the intact surrounding skin completely.
• Choose a dressing size that allows the absorbent pad to cover the wound with the adhesive film sealing onto healthy skin.
• Remove the protective liners without touching the wound-contact surface.
• Centre the pad over the wound and smooth the film onto the surrounding skin without excessive stretching.
• Press the edges gently to form a complete seal.
• Change the dressing if it becomes loose, saturated, contaminated or as advised by a healthcare professional.
Precautions:
• For single use only.
• Do not use if the sterile pouch is damaged or already open.
• Do not use as a substitute for medical assessment of deep, heavily bleeding, infected or complicated wounds.
• Seek professional advice if there is increasing pain, redness, swelling, discharge, fever or other signs of infection.
• Avoid excessive tension during application.
• Dressing wear time depends on wound condition and clinical judgement.
• Store in a clean, dry place according to manufacturer instructions.
