• PolyFlush should be used by trained healthcare professionals or appropriately trained users.
• Perform hand hygiene and follow the applicable aseptic technique before handling the syringe.
• Check that the individual package is intact before use.
• Open the sterile package immediately before use.
• Remove the protective cap without contaminating the syringe connection.
• Connect securely to the compatible vascular access device or needleless connector.
• Flush the vascular access device according to the prescribed institutional or device-specific flushing protocol.
• Apply controlled pressure during flushing.
• Disconnect the syringe after flushing according to clinical procedure.
• Dispose of the used syringe immediately according to local clinical-waste requirements.
• Use each syringe once only.
