Premosan Tablets Pack Of 20 are prescription-strength antiemetic/prokinetic tablets containing 10 mg metoclopramide each. Designed to accelerate gastric emptying, reduce reflux, and control nausea, vomiting, and hiccups, they’re ideal for diabetic gastroparesis, chemotherapy-induced emesis, and functional dyspepsia. The film-coated tablets support acute symptom control and maintenance therapy under physician supervision.

Mechanism of Action:• Metoclopramide blocks D₂ receptors in the chemoreceptor trigger zone to reduce emesis• Agonizes 5-HT₄ receptors in the gut to accelerate gastric emptying and esophageal motilityIndications:• Diabetic gastroparesis (nausea, bloating)• Chemotherapy/surgery-induced nausea & vomiting• Refractory GERD• Intractable hiccupsDosage & Administration:• Adults: 10 mg tablet 30 min before meals & at bedtime, up to 4× daily (max 40 mg/day)• Short-term use (<12 weeks) to minimize tardive dyskinesia risk• Take with water; swallow wholeSafety & Warnings:• Risk of extrapyramidal symptoms (dystonia, akathisia)• Black box warning: tardive dyskinesia with prolonged use• Contraindications: pheochromocytoma, seizure disorders, GI obstruction• Common AEs: drowsiness, fatigue, restlessness, diarrheaStorage:• Store in blister pack at 20–25 °C; protect from light
