Choriomon 5000 IU is a prescription injectable medicine containing Human Chorionic Gonadotrophin (hCG), a gonadotrophin hormone used in reproductive medicine and selected hormone-related conditions.
Each vial contains 5000 IU of Human Chorionic Gonadotrophin as a sterile powder for preparation of a solution for injection. The powder must be reconstituted with the appropriate supplied solvent before administration.
Human Chorionic Gonadotrophin has biological activity similar to luteinising hormone (LH), a naturally occurring hormone involved in reproductive function in both women and men.
In women, Choriomon may be prescribed to induce final follicular maturation and ovulation following appropriate ovarian stimulation. It may also be used in assisted reproductive technology programmes such as IVF when a fertility specialist determines that an hCG trigger is appropriate.
In selected female patients, Choriomon may also be prescribed as part of treatment for infertility associated with inadequate ovulation or luteal function according to the specialist's treatment protocol.

How to Use:
• Use Choriomon 5000 IU only exactly as prescribed by a fertility specialist or qualified physician.
• The powder must be reconstituted with the corresponding solvent before administration.
• Choriomon may be administered by subcutaneous or intramuscular injection according to the prescribed treatment protocol.
• The exact dose, injection timing and duration of treatment depend on the patient's diagnosis and response to therapy.
• For fertility treatment, the timing of the hCG injection is particularly important and must be followed exactly as instructed by the fertility specialist.
• Do not change the prescribed dose or injection time without consulting the treating physician.
• After reconstitution, visually inspect the solution before administration.
• Do not use the prepared solution if it contains visible particles or appears abnormal.

• Untreated thyroid, adrenal, pituitary or other significant endocrine disorders should be assessed by the treating physician before fertility therapy.
• In women, unexplained vaginal bleeding, certain ovarian cysts or tumours and other contraindicated reproductive conditions require specialist assessment.
• Do not use during an established pregnancy unless specifically indicated by specialist product information.
• Do not mix Choriomon with other medicines in the same syringe.
• Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
Storage:
• Store at room temperature between 15°C and 25°C.
• Keep the vial in the original outer carton to protect it from light.
• Do not use after the expiry date printed on the packaging.
