Dymista Nasal Spray is a combination therapy designed for moderate-to-severe allergic rhinitis where single-ingredient treatment may be insufficient. It contains an antihistamine to address allergy-triggered symptoms and a corticosteroid to reduce nasal inflammation, helping improve congestion and overall nasal comfort. Regular use as prescribed helps control daily symptoms and supports better breathing, sleep quality, and daytime comfort during allergy seasons or year-round allergies.\n\nSymptoms it targets:\n- Nasal congestion and blockage\n- Sneezing and runny nose\n- Nasal itching and post-nasal drip (depending on patient)\n\nWhy combination matters:\n- Antihistamine supports rapid relief of allergy response\n- Corticosteroid reduces inflammatory swelling and ongoing congestion\n- Together, they can improve overall symptom control\n\nUsing it correctly improves outcomes:\n- Prime the spray if new or unused for several days\n- Use daily as prescribed (not only when symptoms are severe)\n- Aim nozzle away from nasal septum to reduce irritation\n\nIf nosebleeds, persistent irritation, or visual changes occur, medical review is recommended.
Azelastine hydrochloride + Fluticasone propionate; aqueous nasal spray base; preservatives; stabilizers.
Usage: Use exactly as prescribed; blow nose gently before use; spray into each nostril as directed.\nPrecautions: Prescription-only; avoid spraying into eyes; may cause bitter taste or drowsiness in some; monitor for nosebleeds/irritation; consult doctor if pregnant/nursing or using other steroids; do not share spray.
