Foundayo Orforglipron 14.5mg Tablets 30's is a prescription oral GLP-1 receptor agonist developed by Eli Lilly for chronic weight management in adults with obesity, or adults who are overweight and have at least one weight-related health condition. It is used together with a reduced-calorie diet and increased physical activity.
Orforglipron is a small-molecule, non-peptide GLP-1 receptor agonist taken as a once-daily tablet. GLP-1 receptor activation helps regulate appetite and food intake, supporting reduction of excess body weight and long-term weight management when used as prescribed. The UAE Emirates Drug Establishment approved Foundayo in April 2026.
The 14.5mg strength is an escalation/maintenance dose rather than a starting dose. Treatment begins at a lower strength and is increased gradually according to treatment response and tolerability under medical supervision.

How to Use:
• Take exactly as prescribed by your healthcare professional.
• Take 1 prescribed tablet once daily, with or without food.
• Swallow the tablet whole; do not break, crush or chew it.
• Do not take more than one tablet per day.
• 14.5mg is not the starting dose; it should only be used after appropriate dose escalation.
• The standard escalation begins at 0.8mg once daily, increasing gradually at intervals of at least 30 days according to response and tolerability.
• If a dose is missed, take it when remembered, but do not take two doses in the same day.
• If treatment is missed for 7 or more consecutive days, contact the prescriber before restarting.
Precautions:
• Prescription use only.
• Do not use if you or a family member has a history of medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC) or if you have MEN 2.
• Seek medical attention for severe or persistent abdominal pain that could indicate pancreatitis.
• Nausea, vomiting and diarrhoea can occur and may lead to dehydration and kidney problems.
• Tell your doctor if you have gallbladder disease, kidney disease, diabetes-related eye disease or severe gastrointestinal problems.
• The risk of low blood sugar may increase when used with insulin or certain diabetes medicines.
• Concomitant use with another GLP-1 receptor agonist is not recommended.
• Inform your doctor about all medicines because clinically important drug interactions can occur.
• Use during pregnancy requires medical review; weight-loss treatment is generally not appropriate during pregnancy.
• Store at 20°C–25°C, with permitted excursions between 15°C and 30°C.
• Always read the Medication Guide supplied with the medicine.
