Foundayo Orforglipron 2.5mg Tablets 30's is a prescription oral GLP-1 receptor agonist used for chronic weight management in adults with obesity, or adults who are overweight with at least one weight-related medical condition. Treatment is combined with a reduced-calorie diet and increased physical activity.
Orforglipron is an oral, non-peptide GLP-1 receptor agonist that helps regulate appetite and food intake, supporting clinically supervised reduction of excess body weight and long-term weight maintenance. Foundayo was approved by the Emirates Drug Establishment in April 2026 and is registered in multiple strengths, including 2.5mg.
The 2.5mg strength is used during dose escalation. Under the recommended titration schedule, treatment starts with 0.8mg once daily for at least 30 days, after which the dose may be increased to 2.5mg once daily under the prescriber's direction.

How to Use:
• Take exactly as prescribed by your healthcare professional.
• Take the prescribed tablet once daily, with or without food.
• Swallow the tablet whole; do not break, crush or chew.
• Do not take more than one tablet in a day.
• The recommended treatment schedule begins at 0.8mg once daily for at least 30 days, followed by 2.5mg once daily when directed by the prescriber.
• Further dose increases are made gradually according to treatment response and tolerability.
• If a dose is missed, take it as soon as possible but do not double the next dose.
• If 7 or more consecutive doses are missed, contact your healthcare professional before restarting.
Precautions:
• Prescription use only.
• Do not use in patients with a personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC) or MEN 2.
• Seek urgent medical advice for persistent severe abdominal pain suggestive of pancreatitis.
• Significant nausea, vomiting or diarrhoea may cause dehydration and affect kidney function.
• Tell your healthcare professional if you have gallbladder problems, kidney disease, severe gastrointestinal disease or diabetic eye disease.
• Hypoglycaemia risk may increase when combined with insulin or insulin-secretagogue medicines.
• Do not combine with another GLP-1 receptor agonist unless specifically directed.
• Inform your healthcare professional about all prescription, non-prescription and herbal medicines.
• Discuss pregnancy, planned pregnancy or breastfeeding with your healthcare professional before treatment.
