Imodium Instant 2Mg Orodispersible Tablet - 12 Pack

  • Medicine Type:

    • OTC anti-diarrhoeal tablet

  • Indications:

    • Relief from short-term diarrhoea

    • Treatment of Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) diarrhoea

  • How It Works:

    • Contains loperamide, which slows down bowel movements

    • Allows more water to be absorbed, helping restore balance after diarrhoea

  • Directions for Use:

    • For short-term diarrhoea:

      • Take 2 tablets initially, placed on the tongue to dissolve

      • After initial dose, take 1 tablet after each loose bowel movement

      • Do not use for longer than 48 hours

      • Maximum: 6 tablets in 24 hours

    • For IBS diarrhoea:

      • Same dosage pattern, but may be used for up to 2 weeks for repeated attacks (not single episodes)

  • Precautions:

    • If symptoms do not improve after the recommended period, consult a doctor or pharmacist

Loperamide 2 mg

  • Uses:

    • Treats diarrhoea by reducing bowel movements

  • Usage Directions:

    • Take two tablets after the first loose stool

    • Then, take one tablet after each subsequent loose stool

  • Precautions:

    • Do not exceed 8 tablets in 24 hours
