Strepsils Honey & Lemon Lozenges provide medicated symptomatic relief from sore throat and throat discomfort in a soothing Honey & Lemon flavour.

Each lozenge contains 2,4-Dichlorobenzyl Alcohol 1.2mg and Amylmetacresol 0.6mg, two antiseptic active ingredients that work locally in the mouth and throat.

Strepsils Honey & Lemon helps relieve throat soreness, irritation and discomfort associated with minor mouth and throat infections. Slowly dissolving the lozenge in the mouth allows the active ingredients to remain in contact with the affected throat area while the lozenge base provides a soothing effect.

How to Use:

• Adults, elderly patients and children over 6 years: Dissolve one lozenge slowly in the mouth every 2–3 hours as required.
• Allow the lozenge to dissolve completely in the mouth.
• Do not chew or swallow the lozenge whole.
• Do not exceed 12 lozenges within 24 hours.
• Use the lowest effective amount for the shortest period necessary to relieve symptoms.
• If symptoms persist, worsen or have not improved after 3 days, consult a doctor or pharmacist.

Precautions:

• Not suitable for children under 6 years of age.
• Do not exceed 12 lozenges in 24 hours.
• Do not use if you are allergic to 2,4-Dichlorobenzyl Alcohol, Amylmetacresol or any other ingredient.
• Contains approximately 1.44g sucrose and 0.98g glucose per lozenge; patients with diabetes should take this into account.
• Do not use if you have certain hereditary problems with fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption or sucrase-isomaltase insufficiency.
• Contains very low levels of gluten derived from wheat starch.
• Do not use if you have a wheat allergy.
• Contains Sulphites, which may rarely cause severe hypersensitivity reactions or bronchospasm.
• Flavouring ingredients including Citral, d-Limonene, Geraniol and Linalool may cause allergic reactions in susceptible individuals.
• Consult a healthcare professional before use during pregnancy.

• Stop use and seek medical attention if swelling of the face, lips, tongue or throat, breathing difficulty, rash or another serious allergic reaction occurs.
