Betadine Antiseptic Solution Is The Original Aqueous Solution Of Povidone-Iodine, For Use As An Antiseptic On The Skin, Mucous Membranes And Wounds. It Is Composed Of The Active Ingredient Povidone-Iodine 10% W/V. It Is Used During Casualty Procedures, Including Prevention Of Infection In Burns, Lacerations And Abrasions. Also Treatment Of Various Bacterial, Viral, Protozoal And Mycotic Skin Infections, Including Tinea, Oral Thrush, Impetigo And Herpes Simplex And Zoster Infections.
