Daktarin Cream 30g is a prescription topical antifungal medicine containing Miconazole Nitrate 2% w/w, equivalent to 20mg of miconazole nitrate per gram of cream. It is prescribed for the treatment of susceptible fungal infections affecting the skin and nails.
Miconazole belongs to the imidazole group of antifungal medicines. It works by interfering with the fungal cell membrane, helping control and eliminate susceptible fungi and yeasts responsible for infections such as athlete's foot, ringworm, jock itch and Candida-related skin infections.
