Duspatalin 135mg Tablets contain Mebeverine Hydrochloride 135mg, an antispasmodic medicine used for the symptomatic management of abdominal pain, intestinal cramps and bowel discomfort associated with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).
Mebeverine acts directly on the smooth muscles of the gastrointestinal tract, helping relax intestinal spasms without normally interfering with normal bowel movement. This helps relieve cramping and discomfort associated with functional bowel disorders.
The 135mg tablet formulation is generally taken before meals according to the prescribed treatment plan. Tablets should be swallowed with sufficient water and should not be chewed.
