Medicine Type:

OTC nasal spray for blocked nose and runny nose (rhinorrhoea) due to the common cold

Suitable for adults above 18 years

Active Ingredients and Mechanism:

Xylometazoline hydrochloride:
-
Unblocks nose by reducing mucosal swelling
-
Helps sinus drainage and relieves painful pressure
-

Ipratropium bromide:
-
Acts on cells producing excess mucus, stopping runniness
-
Reduces sneezing by blocking the sneezing reflex
-

Directions of Use:
-
1 spray in each nostril up to 3 times per day
-
At least 6 hours must elapse between consecutive doses
-
Do not exceed 3 applications daily per nostril

Each pack should be for single-person use

How to Use:

Clear your nose
-
Lean forward slightly; insert nozzle into nostril
-
Spray and breathe in gently through the nose at the same time

Repeat for the other nostril

Precautions:

Do not use for more than 7 days

Not advised during pregnancy/breastfeeding unless recommended by a doctor
