• Adjust the crutch height so there is approximately a 2–3 finger-width space between the underarm and the top pad.
• Adjust the handgrips so the elbows remain slightly bent when standing upright.
• Ensure all adjustment pins and fasteners are fully secured before use.
• Support body weight mainly through the hands rather than pressing heavily into the underarms.
• Move the crutches forward according to the walking technique recommended by your healthcare professional.
• Follow any prescribed partial or non-weight-bearing instructions during recovery.
Precautions:
• Do not place excessive body weight directly through the underarms.
• Do not exceed the maximum weight capacity of approximately 110kg.
• Check adjustment pins and handgrips before each use.
• Inspect rubber tips regularly and replace them if worn or damaged.
• Do not use damaged, bent or cracked crutches.
